A Visit's End

Wednesday (1/28 - sorry a lil behind) afternoon Sherrie, Malachi, and I headed out to Pahrump to have dinner with at my moms. I requested Mexican food because my mom makes the best tacos! I have come very close but have never succeeded in the exact taste of her's. I think she just puts a lil extra love in it or something. Rob, Tyler, Kaylie, and Heather joined us. We ate and chatted and had a great time. When it got late we decided to make our way back to Vegas. My mom hugged her best friend for several minutes as I watch them whisper lil secrets into each other's ears. They have been friends for nearly 30 years and I envy their friendship.

Thursday it was time to say our goodbyes to Sherrie. Malachi and Sherrie played all morning before we made our way to the airport. We dropped her off, waved goodbye and off she went. So sad to see her go. Not only did we have a wonderful time bonding and hanging out, she spoiled me a bit by letting me sleep until 8 most mornings and to 9 once! What a wonderful woman she is! I love her so much and will deeply miss her company.
