All Hallows Eve

I was so looking forward to Halloween this year. Malachi finally has got the concept of trick-or-treating and I had a fun filled eventful day planned out. So I thought.... The plan was to get Malachi dressed into his costume, go to the 3D showing of A Nightmare Before Christmas at Town Square at 2pm, trick-or-treat at Town Square at 4pm, back to our neighborhood around 530pm, dinner, and then more trick-or-treating around the block. I had researched everything and had a set schedule. Well to start off, the 2pm showing of the movie was cancelled! I was sooo disappointed! And of course we had already hyped Malachi up about the movie and were now standing inside the movie theatre where a strong aroma of popcorn filled the air. So now this just pissed Malachi off. So we just decided that we would go sit down and get some food. After lunch, we started to walk around and let Malachi trick-or-treat. This went well for about 20 minutes until tired grumpy Malachi surfaced. This was not good. I'll just say I had to end up carrying him kicking and screaming and crying to the car. The lil booger fell asleep within 5 min and was out for the rest of the night! Yep! The rest of the night! We didn't even get to go around our neighborhood. I was bummed. But hay, what do ya do?
