Friday evening was Town Square's light the tree ceremony and welcoming Santa to his house parade. (BTW, Town Square is LV's newest mall edition. Only sooo much better. It has it all... movie theatre, park, restaurants, lots of shops!) So, I got off work (thx to Kristi for reminding me - almost too late ;o) and hurried to Malachi's school to pick him up to make our way to
Town Square. We met our friends and soon found a good spot to watch the parade. The kids were a little impatient but when the time came their faces lit up, well, like a Christmas tree. There we
re snowflakes, elves, and even a marching band. Then in came Santa in a beautiful red sled being pulled by a huge yet graceful black Clydesdale horse. The parade seemed a little to fast for my liking. They all seemed to just breeze right by. I barely had enough time to snap a photo.

So after the parade, we counted down until the Christmas tree was lit. It was a very very tall tree. And once the lights turned on, by golly, it snowed!
Most of the children from all directions had
a confused look on there face as if they were seeing a foreign object. Ok, so it didn't really snow, it was an ice machine or a bubble machine, we we're too sure actually...
Once that was done the elves put on a Christmas show for us. They sang and danced and I got a back ache from holding Malachi up on my shoulders so he could see... Then after we took some photos with Santa's friends, we parted way with the Neilson's and went to get some chow at applebee's. There we were very entertained as well. Malachi has a very creative imagination and well... I'll just let the photos do all of the talking...
