Dinner and a Wax

Friday my sister Kaylie, her GF Heather, and her dad Herb came over for dinner. It was requested that I make meatloaf. I think this is Herb's favorite dish of mine. And actually it's my mom's recipe, so we'll give her a little credit too. So I got off work, picked up Malachi from school (he had a GREAT week), and proceeded home to prep dinner. Malachi is always more than happy to help me in the kitchen. I loves stirring and mixing and flipping. Pretty much anything that I will allow him to do. However, when it comes to meatloaf, he allows me to do the "mixing". I guess the feel of squishing all of the ingredients together with his bare hands is not appealing to him, but he sure does like to watch me do it.

We had just stuck the meatloaf in the oven when the gang showed up. Chi was very happy to see everyone as usual. We had a nice dinner, relaxed, and did some small talk.

I had asked Kaylie earlier in the week to wax my arms. I used to do it all of the time and for no good reason at all decided to do it again. Believe it or not the more waxing or nairing you do the less hair you have! I've done my legs so much that I can usually go about a week with out shaving (I'm sure you all wanted to know this...haha!) So Kaylie then went forth with waxing me. Heather thought that this was very entertaining. Hence why I have photos of this. Kaylie and I then talked Heather into doing a small area on her arm so she knew what it felt like. And then Heather and I did our lips. What fun! HAHAHA!!

All in all, it was a fun family bonding night.
