A Day of Recognition

Today was a pretty darn awesome day I feel. I, along with a group of great people I work with on a HUGE case received the Unit Exemplary Service Award.
We were all invited to lunch at the Macaroni Grille where our chain of command was also present. After some small talk and our food was ordered, the DC got up and read the 4 paragraphs on the certificate outlining our great "team work and perseverance" and "dedication", along with the phenomenal stats. Then he handed then out to each and every one of us.
I was really excited and I felt very honored to receive it. It even came with a ribbon to go on my non-existent uniform. I worked very hard on that case and so did the guys. It's always nice to be recognized for your hard word so I'm very glad that the department went out of their way to do so.
Now I can start a "Metro" wall next to my "Army" wall!

Good job! Glad you're part of the team doing that top secret stuff you do. FYI, Walmart has the best deals on picture frames for your certificates. :-)
